CASSAVA LEAF + FUFU + CHICKEN QUARTER

CASSAVA LEAF SOUP

This exotic, Cassava leaf soup also known as Pondu is a simple, yet tasty and substantial sort of a stew that is widely consumed in many parts of Central Africa especially in the country like Congo. Can be prepared with any meat or fish. Most African countries use dry smoked fish or turkey in their soups for added flavor. This is a classic recipe and is made in every Congolese household.

FRIED PLANTAINS

Fried sweet plantains go great with a variety of dishes. They are often served as a side dish with savory foods such as rice and beans, grilled meats, or fish. Plantains are good sources of several vitamins, including potassium, magnesium and vitamin C. They're also good sources of fiber. Bananas do have more sugar, though, and plantains have more starch.

FUFU

Fufu is a side of many African cuisine it can be served with grilled, stews, soups and sauces to complete a delicious and satisfying meal. Traditionally made from Semolina (grain corn), cassava, yams, or plantains. Not only is it low in cholesterol, it is rich in fiber, potassium and resistant starch. It is eaten with the hands by tearing off small pieces of fufu and dipping them into the soup or sauce.

AFRICAN DONUTS LINGALA

A very tasty African Doughnuts are a party favorite, commonly served with peanut butter or chocolate for breakfast and for snack time. It is crunchy on the outside but pillowy soft on the inside.
